SAMPLE is an online gallery and auction, founded in 2016 by Anna Naumova, Sofya Simakova and Alexandra Lekomtseva. In 2020, the International Contemporary Art Fair Cosmoscow together with the online gallery SAMPLE and the Anna Dyulgerova Communication agency launched the blazar young contemporary art fair. The first fair was held from 9 to 13 September 2020 at the Museum of Moscow and was a satellite of the Cosmoscow fair, as well as a special project of the VII Moscow International Biennale of Young Art. Unlike many other fairs, blazar participants included not only galleries, but also young artists starting their careers and working independently, as well as educational institutions and contemporary art initiatives.
